CODE OF ETHICS
"Exetasis" is an independent journal that adopts the code of publication ethics developed by COPE:

All parties involved are aware of and share the contents of the code of ethics outlined below.
The members of the Editorial Board reserve the right to conduct an initial assessment of the materials submitted by the authors in order to verify the consistency of the texts with the journal's project design, scientific rigor, and alignment with its core objectives.
Submissions meeting these requirements are subsequently subjected to a peer-review process (Double-Blind Review Process) based on standard criteria (relevance and significance of the topic, originality of interpretation, coherence of arguments, formal accuracy, etc.). In the event of approval subject to revisions, authors receive the respective (anonymous) evaluation reports. Authors are expected to carefully follow these indications when revising their texts, while also committing to comply with the formal editing guidelines specified by the Journal. Evaluation reports are sent to authors regardless of whether the outcome is positive or negative, or in the case of a preliminary rejection by the Editorial Board.
The Editorial Board retains ultimate responsibility for the final decision to publish the articles submitted by the authors.
The Editorial Board evaluates submissions exclusively on the basis of their scholarly content, without any form of discrimination against the authors. The Journal undertakes not to disclose any information regarding submitted articles to anyone other than the respective author, the referees, and the publisher. Furthermore, board members commit not to utilize the contents of articles submitted for publication in their own research without the express written consent of the authors.
Any referee who deems themselves unable to undertake the evaluation task within the required timeframe is obliged to notify the Journal staff promptly.
Every text assigned for review must be treated as confidential and must not be discussed with or disclosed to individuals outside the Journal's Editorial Board.
The review process must be conducted impartially. Referees are required to adequately substantiate their judgments. Referees are also encouraged to advise authors on potential bibliographic integrations and to provide constructive feedback to enhance the scientific quality of the articles. Furthermore, referees must report to the Editorial Board any substantial similarities or overlaps between the manuscripts under evaluation and any other published material of which they have personal knowledge.
Information concerning the review process must remain strictly confidential and cannot be used for alternative purposes. Referees must decline to review manuscripts characterized by a conflict of interest or those whose authorship they have deduced. The Editorial Board guarantees referee anonymity, particularly in relation to the authors of the essays submitted for review.
Authors guarantee the comprehensive originality of their work, for which they bear sole responsibility. Authors commit not to submit the same manuscript simultaneously to multiple journals and to cite any other publications in which excerpts of the texts submitted to the Journal may appear. Authors are required to provide accurate citations for all sources and contents mentioned in the article. Any funding sources for the research must be explicitly acknowledged by the author in a dedicated footnote. The authorship of the work must be accurately attributed; all individuals who have made a significant contribution to the conception, organization, execution, and revision of the content must be designated as co-authors.
Authors and members of the Journal's bodies are required to respect the name and prestige of the Journal, to refrain from conduct liable to prejudice its reputation, and to maintain a respectful demeanor in interpersonal relations, communications (including electronic mail), and the use of social media. They are likewise bound to maintain the strictest confidentiality regarding the identities of the referees involved in the evaluation processes of manuscripts submitted to the Journal.
The unauthorized use of the Journal's name in manners not approved by the Editorial Board is strictly prohibited. Members of the Journal shall not issue public statements via any information or communication medium on behalf of the Journal without the express authorization of the Editorial Board, nor shall they express strictly personal opinions employing the Journal's name. Members of the Journal's bodies shall utilize all means of communication appropriately and with due respect for individual privacy, refraining from disseminating information, texts, or images that could damage the reputation and prestige of the Journal and its Members.
